Formerly known as 'about, with & for'
Currently in its 6th year, the Design Research Conference has made great advances. With our new name comes a shift in focus—to present not only user-centered research, but a broader cross section of cutting-edge methodologies and their applications. This conference will emphasize the importance industry and academia share in generating value and advancing the role design research plays in the development strategy for future generations of products and services. A compelling facet of our new direction is to share insight from the organizational perspective on the challenges and successes of research implementation.
We are delighted to announce that the new home of the conference will be Chicago’s Museum of Contemporary Art—a wonderfully appropriate venue for the engaging nature of the work presented.
