Master of Design MethodsTuition and fees, 2007-2008The duration of the entire Master of Design Methods programs is 30 credits. The tuition is billed at the rate of US$1200 per credit hour each semester. Full-time study takes two semesters. Part-time study can be done either over 4 semesters or 6 semesters. Corporate sponsorship is encouraged.
* 2007-2008 tuition for two semesters. ** Current fees, may be subject to change For International Students The United States Immigration and Naturalization Services (INS) requires that all international students show proof of financial support for their first year of study in the United States. In order to meet this requirement, all applicants who need a visa to enter or stay in the United States must submit a signed Financial Affidavit of Support (pages 13-14 of the Institute of Design admissions packet) for the required amount, as well as original copies of Proof of Support documents (such as a bank statements or award letters). International applicants can use the Estimated Expenses above to calculate the amount of funding required for you to attend ID. Remember that Student (F) and Exchange (J) visa holders are not authorized to work as a means of support while studying at ID. Financial Aid Graduate fellowships are available on a competitive basis. Loans are available for U.S. citizens on the basis of need. International students frequently obtain special scholarships from their governments or from international sources, e.g. Fulbright, LASPAU for South America, INLAKS Foundation UK for India, and others.
