Developing Insights & Concepts to Improve Patient Communication
Interned on a service design project to improve the patient experience at Oncure's outpatient radiation clinics. Spent several weeks in a clinic learning from the doctors, staff and patients about the information patients receive. I later developed several concepts on how to make the information patients receive more responsive to their needs.

I am pursuing a M. Des and MBA from IIT Institute of Design and Stuart School of Business. I'm particularly interested in how user-centered design methods and research can be applied to design strategy and service design. I also like to share, test, and develop ideas through making rough prototypes. Last summer I was able to apply what I've been learning at ID and Stuart on project designed around helping cancer patients receive better, more personalized information.

Redesigning the CTA blade
Developed a low-cost concept to improve the way information is delivered to riders at bus stops. I presented a two-tiered system, where an iconic blade would indicate each stop and a lower tier would provide riders with information on the bus line and stops, neighborhood and important phone numbers.
