project 1: Samsung CUE
I led research and strategy efforts in developing Samsung CUE, a product concept designed for the modern family that enables dynamic communication and shared entertainment experiences. My colleagues and I represented Team America in a Global Design Competition within the Samsung Design Membership and were awarded the bronze medal [2009]

personal statement
My goal is to create significant business and brand value for clients by leveraging human-centered design thinking and innovative strategic planning. I’m passionate about product and service innovation and firmly believe that design research and strategy are fundamental parts of successfully leveraging business insights and identifying unmet user needs. I'm currently a Master of Design candidate at the IIT Institute of Design in Chicago, IL. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree from Johns Hopkins University in Psychological & Brain Sciences and a Master of Business Administration from the IIT Stuart Graduate School of Business in Strategic Management & Marketing.
project 2: Explore Chicago
Explore Chicago is a smartphone application that encourages and facilitates both visitors and residents of Chicago to discover and explore the many wonderful sights, sounds, and attractions that the city has to offer. The application prototype was evaluated by the City of Chicago’s Mobile Chicago Initiative for implementation potential [2009]

project 3: FoodPrint Rating
The FoodPrint rating enables consumers to make food purchasing decisions based on the life-cycle energy emissions of food products. The brand aims to motivate change in the food industry by creating consumer driven demand for better energy practices. [One FoodPrint = fossil fuel expended to create 1 calorie of food]
