	Andy is a graduate student in his final semester of the Human Centered Design program. His main area of interest is education. Along with Alphabet Highway, he is currently working on his demonstration project: the Collaboratory - a virtual space for teaching high school students how collaborate and allowing them to work together on team projects. He has worked on a number of other education projects in the past, including the Joyce Workshop, sponsored by the Joyce Foundation. Andy has worked at Microsoft over the past two summers in the area of interactive television and prior to coming to the Institute of Design worked for over 10 years in Silicon Valley as a software engineer and interface designer.
