Introduction
|
Interdisciplinary is the best adjective to qualify my academic background, which combines the fields of Design, Computer Science, Education, Communication, Mathematics, Art and Psychology. Also part of my personal history is knowledge of different cultures, as I have lived on several continents, for significant periods of time, including Europe and Asia, besides North and South America. The advantage that all this brings is a familiarity with diverse fields of knowledge and cultures, allowing me
look at the world from multiple points of view. |
Methods
|
My tool box combines qualitative and quantitative methods, and uses five human factors frameworks, related to physical, cognitive, emotional, social and cultural factors involved in people's interactions with products, systems, organizations, and messages. It includes user observation and other ethnographic research methods, prototyping (scenarios, conceptual, behavioral and procedural prototypes), interaction design and collaborative-content-systems methods, structured planning methods and statistical analysis methods. |
