Family Share Cameraproduct workshop with Hewlett-Packard
Problem
Silvers, the newest generation of retired men and women, are very different from any other set of retirees we've seen. They have saved for retirement not just to live comfortably, but to experience the world through travel, hobbies and second careers.
Many Silvers love to take pictures (from a trip down the street to a trip across the country) and share them with friends and family. However, as a generation that learned the computer later in life, it is sometimes a challenge to get the pictures from the camera out into the world. The process of connecting the camera, saving the pictures, uploading them to a web serice or emailing them to friends is a daunting process. Many Silvers even rely on their children for this process
Solution
Teaming with HP, the Family Share camera eliminates the necessity of connecting to a computer! The Family Share is a wireless camera. When pictures are taken they are automatically uploaded to a photo sharing website. An identification number is used to link the camera to the correct account. This eliminates the need to ever upload photos, or even delete them from the camera. Holding at least 2GB of storage internally, the camera simply deletes photos at the end when it reaches maximum capacity.
