The project was developed in a workshop
at Institute of Design and tried to explore
new ways of introducing plants in working
environments. “Grobot” was a part of a
larger integrated solution that also included
fixed partitions, desks and a virtual ceiling.

The version of the Grobot that
can be mass-produced today
would be upholstered with
water- and stain-resistant
textiles. This allows many
options for colors and patterns,
which can be customized to
suit personal tastes and
corporate brand identities.

Grobots are designed as a product

in the office. Shared components
help minimize manufacturing costs.
